RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• No call requirements
• Will float on a rotational basis
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Patient ratios vary: nights typically 1:6 to 1:8 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Work on 32-bed Surgical 3A floor caring for Cardiac/Med Surg patients
• Required: Current RN license eligible for Missouri, BLS from AHA, 4 trauma credits (must complete within first two weeks if not already obtained), NIHSS certification
• Preferred: ACLS from AHA
• Minimum 1 year telemetry experience (inpatient only) required
• Must have experience and competence in drug titration
• Work with Alaris pumps, telemetry equipment, and lift equipment
• EMR system: EPIC
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and must be available entire orientation week
• Auto-offer position with flexible scheduling options available
