Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shifts, 5x8 schedule from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Call coverage required: one to two weekends per month plus 4-6 weekdays per month
• 1:1 patient ratio for procedural care
• Work with oncology, dialysis, neurology, and PE patients
• Perform diagnostic and invasive procedures of various anatomy and pathology
• Support care team during procedures, including scrub assistance
• Operate special procedures imaging equipment with Siemens technology
• Administer contrast materials and review medication reconciliation forms
• Operate oxygen, suction, blood pressure and other essential patient care equipment
• Monitor patients before, during and after procedures
• Use EPIC Radiant EMR system
• Green surgical scrubs provided daily and must remain within facility
• No torn clothes, open-toed shoes, or non-scrub attire permitted
• Float requirements as needed by facility
• Required: ARRT (R) certification, BLS from AHA only, minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Preferred: Advanced registry (CI, VI, RCIS) certification
