RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Must have January 5th start date
• Work on Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on 2nd floor with 29 beds and 36 staff members
• Patient ratios typically 1:5, occasionally 1:6 during critical staffing shortages (non-typical)
• Day shift skills mix includes RN, LPN, CNA, with Clinical Coordinator 7 days a week
• Night shift includes RN, LPN, CNA, with Clinical Team Leads 7 nights a week
• Work with equipment including Hill Rom beds, Baxter IV pumps, SCD pumps
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Telemetry experience required - candidates without this will not be considered
• Charge experience preferred
• Perform central line placements on unit
• Most procedures done in procedural areas or transferred to ICU if patient requires upgrade
• Professional scrubs with patterns and colors acceptable
• Team-oriented environment with very close-knit staff
