RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No local candidates accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke
• Dress code requirement: Navy scrubs
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment for safe patient care delivery
• Provide leadership in anticipating and planning emergency department care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Hold shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients
• Position created due to vacant position
