RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Step-Down Unit (PCU) position on Unit 637
• 8-bed unit located on 3rd floor of main building
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 PCT
• Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 PCT
• Required skills: Dysrhythmia interpretation and NIH
• Must be an excellent communicator and team-oriented
• Work with Meditech EMR system
• Travel RN experience preferred
• Position available for 1 RN

Facility:

This medical center operates a specialized step-down unit providing intermediate care for patients who require more intensive monitoring than general medical floors but less than intensive care. The facility maintains modern equipment and utilizes the Meditech electronic medical record system.
