RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with required call responsibilities
• On-call requirements: one call night weekly from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, plus one weekend (48 hours) every 4 weeks
• Call shifts typically follow the same day shift, then off the following day
• 13-week assignment length
• 36 hours per week plus call requirements
• Variable 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• 13-bed PACU unit on 2nd floor
• May float to Day Surgery as needed
• Perform IV starts, drips, arterial lines, and pain blocks
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Must have 1-3 years PACU experience and Level 2 trauma hospital experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• Uniforms provided
• Variable weekend and on-call expectations
