RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible
• Minimum 2+ years of OR experience required with strength in Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• CNOR certification preferred
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Expected to float between campuses as needed
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning patient care in the operating room
• Work as part of the surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel
• Provide patient care according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards
• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, case timeliness, family communication, updating physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
