RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
• 13-week travel assignment starting as soon as possible
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required with strength in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology
• Cerner EMR experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Expected to float between campuses as needed
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care
• Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel
• Ensure supplies availability and timeliness of surgical cases
• Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards
• Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care
• Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies and procedures
