Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Provide standard medical-surgical care with focus on oncology patients
• Maintain 1:5 patient ratio
• Administer chemotherapy treatments (requires chemo certification)
• Care for oncology and general surgery patients on 24-bed unit
• Monitor remote telemetry patients with vital signs every 4 hours
• Perform standard vital signs every 8 hours for regular patients
• Use Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system
• Utilize iPhone nursing system for communication with care team members
• Minimum 1 year current hospital acute care oncology RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Chemo certification preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Must demonstrate positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Work within primary nursing care model with charge nurse support

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
