RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Travel assignment providing backfill coverage
• 52-bed emergency department with diverse patient population
• Patient ratios: 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, pediatrics team nursing approach
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH
• Kansas nursing license required
• Travel nursing or large facility experience required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Work with Alaris equipment for patient care
• Perform typical emergency department procedures including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
• Must be able to maintain fast-paced emergency department environment
• Expected to scan patients and medications with every interaction
• Work alongside experienced team including charge nurse, nurses, technicians, unit clerk, physician, and mid-level provider per pod
