Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment on 10th floor
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Work with cardiac patients in a fast-paced, high acuity environment
• Required certifications: ACLS
• Must have PCU experience and cardiac experience
• Work with various types of equipment including telemetry, transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, bipap, cpap, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, and SCD pumps
• Administer IV drips including heparin, tikosin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitro, Lasix, and ketamine
• Perform typical procedures such as chest tube placement and removal, pacer wire removal, and 12 lead EKGs
• EMR system: Meditech
• Must be a great team player with high energy
• Work alongside charge RN and nursing team including PCTs

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
