RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work in 6 Front Telemetry, Med Surg, Trauma unit
• Patient ratios of 5 to 6:1
• 2 years experience in hospital setting required
• Must have active VA/Compact license at submission
• Required certifications: BLS & ACLS
• Must pass basic rhythm test
• Work with equipment including EKG, Code cart, Welch Allyn vital machines, Vascular Doppler, wound vacs, Cultura Link interpreting services, Carescape monitors for rhythm monitoring at bedside
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech
• Typical procedures include small I & Ds, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Thoracentesis
• Medical surgical experience preferred
• Dress code requires navy scrubs, no cotton jackets allowed
• High energy and positive attitude required
