Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (3x12 hour day shifts)
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Weekend requirements: Every Saturday & Sunday
• No on-call requirements
• Perform computed tomography (CT) and general radiology procedures including portable procedures
• Produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes
• Work with patients of all ages including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Perform accurate CT and X-ray procedures according to protocol using optimal techniques
• Handle patient positioning, equipment preparation, and monitor patient condition during procedures
• Administer intravenous contrast as ordered by physicians
• Enter data into HIS system and use RIS to capture patient visits and charge information
• Follow radiation safety measures and infection control policies
• Must have 3 years of CT and Radiology Technologist experience
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ARRT, and Virginia License
• Must complete AMA accredited Radiology Technology program
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology required
• Ability to work weekends/holidays and be available for all shifts as needed
• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
• EMR system: EPIC

This is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital that provides comprehensive radiology services to the community. The facility maintains modern CT scan and X-ray equipment and follows strict safety protocols and infection control guidelines. The radiology department serves patients of all ages and works closely with physicians to provide quality diagnostic imaging services for accurate medical diagnosis.
