RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and rotating holidays required
• Patient ratios of 1:6, occasionally 1:7 with surge conditions
• 2 years of hospital experience required
• Must have active compact nursing license at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS and IV certification
• Float to same level of care units when needed
• Work with telemetry equipment and Meditech Expanse documentation system
• Perform procedures including CBI, wound care, drain management (chest tubes, Jackson Pratt), foley insertion, central line dressing changes, telemetry monitoring, and EKGs PRN
• Unit staffing includes unit secretary (day shift only) and LNAs for both shifts
• Patient experience requirements include bedside shift report, hourly safety rounding, and personal connections
• Self-scheduling available with leadership reserving rights to communicate need for schedule balance
• Scrubs required (any color)
