RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• Work in 12-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
• Standard ICU patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients unless higher or lower acuity requires adjustment
• Required to float to other units in the facility including PCU and Medical Surgical as needed
• Minimum 3 weekend shifts per month required
• Participative scheduling with manager's right to move staff to fill schedule gaps
• Block scheduling not guaranteed
• Must have cardiac critical care experience
• Ability to care for post-operative open heart patients (minimum 1-2 days post-op)
• Work with standard critical care equipment plus Impella heart pumps and Hemosphere advance monitoring platform
• Utilize Meditech documentation system
• Perform procedures including intubations, CRRT, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Respond to rapid response calls and code blue situations as part of critical care team
• Advanced skills with Impella heart pump and CRRT preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS minimum
• CCRN certification preferred
• Must wear navy scrubs per dress code policy
• Focus on patient experience including explaining care and medications, treating patients with courtesy and respect, and timely call light response
