Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with rotating call
• Weekend schedule with call requirements
• Patient ratio of 3:1
• Required certifications: RCIS and ACLS/BLS
• Minimum 2 years lab experience required
• Advanced EP (electrophysiology) experience preferred
• Work with GE lab equipment, Impella, balloon pump, Penumbra, and IVUS
• Use Merge Hemo documentation system
• Provided OR scrubs as required uniform
• May need to float to cover nearby sister hospital West Marion for STEMI calls
• Perform right and left heart catheterization procedures (both diagnostic and intervention)
• Conduct peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures

This multi-campus healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center featuring a 323-bed main campus and a 262-bed west county location. The organization recently completed a 40-bed expansion that enhanced the inpatient rehabilitation unit to 52 beds and added a 24-bed medical/surgical unit. The facility operates five free-standing Emergency Departments to improve community access to care and maintains a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab with 3 labs equipped with advanced technology.
