Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
• Full-time position with ASAP start
• Electrophysiology experience required
• Prepare cardiac catheterization laboratory and operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and hemodynamic measurements
• Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Set up and operate cath lab equipment including imaging systems, contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, and thrombectomy equipment
• Support physician needs during procedures and ensure proper patient positioning
• Perform daily room checks and supply stocking
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA for pediatric facilities)
• Graduate from accredited radiology technology school or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
• Preferred certifications include RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT radiography, or various specialized registrations
• Texas state licensure required (MRT or LMRT by TMB)
• Adhere to organizational dress code and attendance policies
