RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Travel nursing position on Med Surg unit (604)
• Patient ratios average 30-40 points per shift
• Minimum night shift staffing of 3
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: NRP and PALS
• EMR system: Meditech
• Perform typical procedures including administering treatments, ventilator setup, assisting with intubations, arterial blood gas draws, and patient/staff education
• Provide all respiratory therapy services
• Experience in ED, PEDS, ICU, NICU, or Med Surg preferred
• Must be a team player with collaborative approach
• Autonomy required in patient care decisions
• Flexible scheduling available
• Key role in NICU and ICU therapy and ventilator liberation
