RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 37-bed Level 2 Trauma emergency department
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio in zone
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 techs/paramedics, 5 mid-shift RNs, and 2 mid-shift techs
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 techs/paramedics, 5 mid-shift RNs, and 2 mid-shift techs
• Work with GE monitors and MediTech EMR system
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks with no on-call responsibilities
• Care for ED patients admitted to hospital holding in emergency department
• Must demonstrate high caliber patient experience skills
• Ideal candidate should be high energy, self-motivated, and amicable
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Dress code requires royal blue scrub top and bottom
• Handle typical emergency department procedures and patient care
