RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 7-suite operating room with various surgical procedures
• Day shift requires 1 call day per week and 1 weekend shift per month
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Must have general/trauma OR skills and minimum 1 year operating room experience
• Must have Neuro and Ortho/Spine experience (Labor & Delivery only experience not applicable)
• Preferred qualifications include trauma center experience and ortho experience
• Typical procedures include ortho, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology cases
• Work with various OR equipment and use Meditech EMR system
• Team includes charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 6-7 CSTs, orderly, and anesthesia techs on day shift
• Night shift staffed with 1 RN and 1 CST
• Required certification: BLS
• Must change into hospital-provided scrubs each day
• Seek team players with positive attitudes

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department featuring 7 operating room suites located on the main building's first floor. The facility performs a wide variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic, neurological, robotic, general, trauma, and urological surgeries. The organization maintains modern surgical equipment and utilizes Meditech EMR systems to support high-quality patient care with a dedicated team of 45 staff members including RNs, CSTs, and ancillary support personnel.
