RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on 4east unit in main building with 30 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 28-day schedule
• Fall into holiday rotation schedule
• Float to other units as part of rotation with staff
• Work with medical-surgical patients including those with respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, telemetry, central lines, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
• Use equipment including walkers, IV pumps, and sequential compression devices
• Document using Meditech system
• Maintain patient experience requirements of 72% utilizing communication boards
• Work alongside clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, PCTs, and case management
• Must demonstrate teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
• Medical-surgical experience required
• BLS certification required
• Must wear navy blue scrubs per dress code requirements
• Follow general hospital policies and unit-specific guidelines
