Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM
• Start immediately at main campus
• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility
• Graduate of accredited AMA school required
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) registration required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• AART CT certification required
• Licensed by state as general radiographer
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures
• Conduct C-arm procedures and OR imaging services
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
• Perform biopsy/drainage procedures
• Knowledge of CT system processing required
• Experience with surgical/sterile procedures
• Handle studies with or without contrast media
• Understanding of cross sectional anatomy required
• Provide timely diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients under radiologist direction
