RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Travel assignment on 5th floor Med/Tele/PCU unit (61115)
• 38-bed unit with patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse on both days and nights
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Cardiac experience preferred
• Work with specialized equipment including lifts, Dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech
• Perform typical procedures including cardiac drips, cardiac catheterizations, and post-VATS care
• Self-scheduling options available when unit allows
• Access to new lift equipment and iMobile technology
• Team-oriented environment with positive atmosphere
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7-9 RNs, and 2-3 MSTs
