Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Must have MEDITECH experience and IV start skills
• Pediatric experience required
• Day surgery, preop, or PreAdmit Testing (PAT) experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Float between preop, post-op, and PreAdmit Testing areas
• Work with equipment including MEDITECH and IV pumps
• Patient ratios: Preop, PAT, and Holding - 1:1; Post-op - 3:1
• Must work 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per schedule period
• Must work during inclement weather
• Self-scheduling with supervisor ability to adjust based on unit needs
• Work with typical procedures including general surgery, gynecology, and orthopedic scopes
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Must be flexible, friendly, and a team player
• No weekends or on-call requirements

This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Adult Day Surgery unit located on the 2nd floor of the Children's Tower. The facility features a 22-bed unit with a staff of 41 healthcare professionals across multiple specialized areas including day surgery, PreAdmit Testing, OR holding, and interventional radiology. The facility provides a wide range of surgical services and maintains high standards for patient care with specialized equipment and dedicated units for different aspects of surgical care.

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
