Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
RN - MICU
Job Details:
• Work rotating weekend schedule in the Medical ICU
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• No call requirements
• 2+ years MICU/MSICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Meditech experience preferred
• Work with all ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
• Participate in central line placements, bedside procedures like thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and all other ICU procedures
• Assignments made according to patient acuity and nursing skills
• Documentation in Meditech system
• Floating as needed per hospital policy
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required, no artificial nails, neat and clean hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer, body art covered when possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
