RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3 shifts per 12-hour schedule)
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed
• 13-week assignment duration
• Must start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Arizona license, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• EMR system: Cerner
• Step-down unit requiring ability to handle cardiac drips and familiarity with TAVRs and watchmen mitro clips
• Utilize Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Evaluate patients, plan and implement nursing care, and document all activities
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within registered nurse scope of practice
• Promote patient independence through education and teaching
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership abilities
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
