Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as required by the facility
• Must be willing to float to other units when needed
• 1+ years of emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: Current Missouri state license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Must wear black scrubs
• Work with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Perform direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Physical demands include standing and walking most of the shift, lifting and pushing patients on stretchers and wheelchairs
• Must be able to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs.
• Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)
• Function within scope of nursing practice and Missouri Nurse Practice Act guidelines

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
