RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Telemetry unit with 26 beds and patient ratio of approximately 1:5
• Night shift staffing includes Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Techs
• ACLS and NIH certifications preferred
• Work with equipment including lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and walkers/canes
• Handle typical procedures including TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacement, post hysterectomy, and gallbladder/appendectomy cases
• Must demonstrate outgoing personality and team-oriented approach
• Work in supportive team environment with leadership making daily rounds
• Staff regularly take lunch breaks and support each other throughout shifts
