RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating weekends required
• Must have Alaska RN license at time of submission
• Patient ratios of 4:1 (6:1 for low acuity ESI 4 & 5 patients)
• Work in 20-bed emergency department with 4 hall beds
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, ENPC
• Prior ED experience required; stroke and STEMI experience preferred
• Trauma and pediatrics experience preferred
• Equipment used includes Lucas devices, Level 1 infusers, Alaris IV pumps, I-stat, EPOC, and GE monitors
• EMR system: EPIC
• Perform typical ED RN duties plus splinting and breathing treatments
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs with appropriate fit
• Ideal candidate is flexible, transparent, positive, outgoing, efficient, and a team player
