RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit position
• 23-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratio
• Day shift: 6-7 RNs and 2 Aides
• Night shift: 6-7 RNs and 2 Aides
• Work every other weekend with no on-call requirement
• Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED
• Work with equipment including bedside monitors, end tidal O2 monitoring, high flow oxygen, chronic ventilators, and subdural drains
• Utilize Meditech EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including chest tubes and EEGs
• Must have telemetry and step-down experience
• Preferred experience in neuro and trauma
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS and TNCC
• Must be team oriented
• Professional scrub attire required with no specific color requirement
