RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 32-bed medical care unit with 6:1 patient ratios
• Must be willing to work weekends as assigned (every other weekend) and major holidays
• No on-call responsibilities
• Handle high admission/discharge turnover daily
• Must have no history of attendance concerns
• Work with standard nursing equipment including BiPAP, Mid/Flow, PD, Heparin drips, and Phillips Cardiac Monitors
• Use Meditech 6.0 EMR system
• BLS certification required (ACLS is NOT required)
• Dress code requires navy scrubs with closed toe and heel shoes
• Float to similar level of care units (med surg) or potentially step-down with med surg assignment
• Care for mainly cardio-pulmonary patients but may receive any general medical patients
• Monitor patients for cardiac needs without typically treating arrhythmias
• May receive stable COVID-19 patients
• Must have positive, outgoing attitude and good understanding of HCAHP importance
• Work within collaborative team environment with strong physician relationships
