RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week (must be specified on submission)
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend hours required every third weekend
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio of 1:4 with 61 beds on unit
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), NIHSS, TNCC
• Current RN license meeting Missouri eligibility criteria required
• 2 years emergency department/trauma experience required (inpatient only)
• Must have trauma experience
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire week
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Black scrubs only
• Flu vaccination required November 1 - April 1
• Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Care for post-trauma patients, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments
• Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs., and significant bending/stooping
