RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work in a 36-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with 5:1 patient ratios
• Schedule includes every other weekend and some holidays
• Float to other units as needed if census drops
• Provide care for cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
• Perform hourly rounding and participate in daily huddles
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Work with modern equipment including Stryker beds, communication phones and headsets, new vital sign machines, and vein finder technology
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Dress code requirement: Navy scrubs
• Unit features acuity-based assignments for optimal patient care
• All staff rotate as techs when needed, with monitor techs and additional support staff available
