Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program required
• Must hold A.R.R.T. registration and RT/CT Registry certification
• Current Nevada X-ray License required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions and administer contrast materials
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment and position patients to capture appropriate images
• Perform quality control procedures and maintain equipment
• Apply independent judgment and adhere to all radiation safety standards
• Provide coverage for other areas within the Radiology Department when needed
• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures when acting as Radiologic Technologist
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills
• Assume responsibility for accurate and efficient procedure completion
