RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive emergency room nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Work varying shifts between 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM with weekend rotation
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning safe patient care delivery
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience levels
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education requirements
• Must have 3 years of recent emergency room experience in a hospital setting
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (must be American Heart Association certified)
• TNCC certification preferred but not required
• Wisconsin RN license or multi-state RN license required
• Hold shift accountability for emergency department patient care and outcomes
