RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 20-bed Surgical Trauma ICU (STICU) located on the 4th floor of K building
• Patient ratios typically 1:2, may be 1:3 during staffing challenges
• Day shift grid staffing includes 1 CNC and 10 nurses
• Night shift grid staffing includes 1 CNC and 10 nurses
• Work every other weekend
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, ATCN
• Must have trauma surgical ICU background experience
• Work with specialized equipment including Camino ICP monitors, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, arterial/CVC lines
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Perform procedures including central line, chest tube, and arterial line insertions, plus percutaneous tracheostomies
• Float to MICU, NSICU, CICU, CVICU, K7 PCU, G7 PCU, and 4H CVPC as needed
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs (top and bottom) or navy bottom with white top
• Must be team-work oriented
