RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Must have current Utah RN license at time of submission
• 2 years of ICU experience required (will consider 1 year strong experience)
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Scheduling options: straight nights or 50/50 rotation
• Patient ratios: 1:2 standard (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity patients including IABP, CRRT, open hearts)
• 24-bed ICU unit with 46 staff members
• Work with advanced cardiac procedures including rapid sequence intubations and central line placements
• Experience required with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use, arterial lines, and other ICU skills
• Handle procedures including central line placement, bronchoscopy, intubation, arterial line placement, and chest tube placement
• Float to PCU or as sitter anywhere in hospital inpatient areas
• Required certifications: ACLS
• 3 weekend shifts required within a 4-week period
• Documentation system: EPIC
• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
• CCT/US support available during day shift when more than 10 patients
• Outgoing, team player personality preferred
