RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 35-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) located on G4 floor of G Tower
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio
• Work with specialized equipment including EVDs, ventilators, EV1000, rapid infusers, and Ceribell
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Perform typical procedures including central line/HD/a-line insertion, wound care, and post-neurological intervention care
• Float to SICU, CVU, PCU, and ED holds for ICU patients as needed
• Work every other weekend (day shift: Saturday/Sunday, night shift: Friday/Saturday)
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 PCT, and up to 19 RNs (census dependent)
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 PCT, and up to 19 RNs (census dependent)
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Must have greater than 1 year ICU experience
• Preferred experience in neurological, trauma, or cardiac ICU
• Experience as preceptor and/or charge nurse preferred
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Unit guidelines and policies will be discussed upon arrival
