RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Must have active New Hampshire RN license at time of submission
• Work in 8-bed ICU with 2:1 patient ratios
• Mixed patient population in open ICU setting
• Goal staffing of 4 RNs per shift, 24/7 coverage
• Self-scheduling encouraged with every other weekend requirement
• Overtime available when needed with flexible scheduling options
• May float to critical care or intermediate care areas when needed
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• AIBP experience and CCRN certification preferred
• Medical and Surgical ICU experience required
• Work with GE B650 cardiac monitors, ventilators, and Gaymar cooling equipment
• Document using Meditech system
• Perform ventilator care, therapeutic hypothermia, PCI/STEMI procedures
• Handle IABP, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, TEE/cardioversion
• Manage temporary pacers, sepsis care, stroke/TPA, and DKA cases
• Serve as responder for Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams
• Follow AIDET validation protocols and participate in hourly rounding
• Maintain professional scrubs and appearance at all times
• Participate in bedside care conferences and hand-off procedures
