Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes every Wednesday and Thursday, plus every other weekend (Friday through Sunday)
• Full-time position with ASAP start availability
• Must have 1 year of CT experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology required
• Required certifications: Radiography (R) by ARRT or Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT/NMTCB, plus CT certification by ARRT or NMTCB
• Texas state licensure (MRT by TMB) and BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Basic computer experience required
• Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed
• Facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow
• Demonstrate flexibility to work other shifts and campuses as needed
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems
• Ensure completed exams are properly scanned and stored in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
• Report equipment malfunctions and perform appropriate follow-up
• Participate in ongoing education and technical advances within scope of licensure
• Maintain expected imaging competencies and professional standards
