Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Radiation Therapist
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8 day shifts)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend requirements or on-call responsibilities
• 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ARRT, and Virginia state license
• Must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs in accordance with facility dress code policy
• Work with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Provide daily care for cancer patients including accurate interpretation and delivery of radiation treatments
• Perform simulations and provide clinical instruction for radiation therapy students
• Assist in Brachytherapy procedures and treatment planning including tumor localization and dosimetry
• Check prescriptions, schedule patients, and explain pre-treatment and post-treatment procedures
• Prepare room and equipment according to prescriptions, including immobilization devices and field sizes
• Take and process images of all treated areas, maintain patient markings, and document treatment doses
• Monitor patients for unusual reactions, maintain radiation safety measures, and ensure accurate billing
• Create proper immobilization devices for 2-D, 3-D, and IMRT patients
• Interface with physicists, dosimetrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
