RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• 13-week assignment length
• Weekend rotating schedule
• No call requirements
• Patient ratio 4:1 for ED hold overflow patients
• Float as needed per Methodist floating policy
• 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience required
• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Must have telemetry monitoring experience with various drips
• Experience with typical progressive care department procedures
• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Clean and healthy nail policy, neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors
• Body art should be covered when possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited
