Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day schedule
• One weekend of call every 4 weeks required
• 1-2 days per week call every 4 weeks required
• Support cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing lab and operating essential equipment
• Operate fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition equipment
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
• Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Work with STEMI patients, acute myocardial infarction cases, coronary interventions, structural heart cases, and electrophysiology cases
• Set up and operate cath lab equipment including imaging systems, contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump
• Support physicians during procedures and ensure patient positioning and safety
• Maintain proficiency in access site management
• Adhere to organizational dress code and attendance policy
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only) and ACLS (AHA only)
• Texas state licensure required (MRT or LMRT by TMB)
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
• 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
• Various specialized certifications preferred including RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT certifications

The facility houses state-of-the-art emergency department, ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab and surgical suites, and serves as a teaching facility in affiliation with the Texas A&M University System Health and Science Center College of Medicine. The organization maintains accreditations as a Chest Pain Center and Joint Commission Stroke Team.
