Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Three-day schedule: Thursday at North Strand ER, Friday at Grand Strand ER, Saturday at Carolina Forest ER
• At least 1 year experience in level 1 trauma setting required
• Perform ED and IP CT exams only following compassionate care model
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently required
• Work with GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice CT scanners
• Average 180 CT exams per day with 3 scanners available
• Unit staffing includes 2 techs per scanner during day shifts, total 3 techs for overnight shifts
• Perform routine CT exams for all types of ED and IP patients
• Procedures include trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
• Use Meditech documentation system
• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred
• Dress code requirement: charcoal grey uniform

This 345-bed acute-care facility offers the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program, and pediatric intensive care unit in the region, as well as housing the only Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers in the area. The radiology department is CT ACR accredited and the facility maintains Joint Commission accreditation.
