RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required with holiday coverage
• Block scheduling approved
• 13-week assignment duration
• Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Auto offer position available
• 1:5-6 nurse to patient ratio
• 24-bed cardiac telemetry unit
• Floating to other units required
• Focus on cardiac telemetry patients, particularly heart failure patients
• Must interpret telemetry strips, administer medications, complete charting assessments, and provide bedside shift reports
• Must be comfortable with cardiac drips that are NOT titrated
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Indiana state nursing license
• Navy scrubs required
• Electronic medical record system: Cerner
• Must be greater than 50 miles from facility - local candidates not accepted
