RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 36 guaranteed hours per week on night shift
• Weekend hours as needed on rotating basis
• No call requirements
• Float to ICU and any progressive unit as needed
• Maintain typical 1:2 patient ratio (varies during shift based on needs)
• Work with specialized equipment including CRRT machine, Abbott Balloon pump, External Vent Drain, Impella, and PrismaFlex
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• Provide care for heart surgery and neuro patients (stroke, brain surgery)
• Must have 1+ years of experience with cardiac/open heart and CABG experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care including developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families
• Must demonstrate competence, teamwork, good work ethic, and flexibility
