RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12 hour shifts)
• Position includes three different shift types: 1 twelve-hour charge shift, 2 eight-hour clinical coach shifts, and 1 eight-hour administrative shift
• Required to work 6 weekend shifts during contract period
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed
• 2 years of experience required
• Charge nurse experience on day shifts preferred
• Work in 38-bed emergency department at Trauma Level III hospital
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Black scrubs required
• Clinical coach responsibilities include staff and patient rounding, resolving Pyxis discrepancies, addressing barriers to room assignments and staffing plans, supporting charge nurses with productivity management, handling equipment and supply issues, ensuring sepsis workflow compliance, and providing real-time coaching to staff
• Administrative shift duties involve chart review and audits
• Facility is a stroke receiving and STEMI receiving center
• NIH certification recommended but not required
