Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
• Must have Electrophysiology (EP) experience
• Support cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing lab and operating essential equipment
• Operate fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition equipment
• Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately
• Maintain stringent aseptic technique and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Perform daily room checks and stocking of supplies
• Access daily patient schedules and appropriate patient information
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety on procedure table
• Train and complete competencies on cath lab equipment including imaging, contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, left ventricular assist device
• Support physician needs and ensure patient safety when scrubbing procedures
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only)
• Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 0-1 year experience in acute care setting preferred
• State licensure required (Texas: MRT or LMRT by TMB)
• Preferred certifications: RCIS, RCES, RCS by CCI; R, CI, CV, VI by ARRT; AB, OB/GYN RDMS, AE RDCS, RVT by ARDMS
