RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
• 23-bed surgical unit with 1:6 patient ratio
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No call requirements
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• Float requirements: Customary to Med Surg & Progressive units
• Post-surgical experience required (not OR) including urology, orthopedic, and general medical overflow
• Must be willing to learn and take on charge responsibilities
• Preferred experience: Peri Dialysis
• Work with customary equipment including IV pumps
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• Dress code: Black scrubs required
• Flu vaccination required from November 1 - April 1
• Contract duration up to 13 weeks (extendable to 26 weeks)
• Expected to work at least one major summer or winter holiday
• Up to 5 days requested time off automatically approved per 13-week period
