Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as a Medical Technologist demonstrating critical thinking skills, judgment, and leadership in laboratory technology practice
• Responsible for efficient planning, directing, and accurate provision of all laboratory testing in assigned area of licensure
• Work 7 days on, 7 days off schedule from 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Must have 5 years recent experience as a Medical Technologist
• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• Experience required in blood bank, MTS gel & tube methods
• Must have experience with Beckman Coulter hematology (520 and 690), manual differential, body fluid cell count and diff procedures
• Experience with Werfen Top coagulation instrumentation & urine microscopic procedures required
• Practice in accordance with laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory standards, and recognized testing techniques
• 3 positions available for new/expanded service line
